In 2017 the ChTPZ group shipped 1.988 million tons of pipes to customers, up by 16% YoY, or by 275 thousand tons.
ChTPZ share in pipes sales in Russia grew last year by 1%, to 17.5%.
The sales of seamless pipes increased by 19%, to 1.2 million tons.
The group also sold 800 thousand tons of welded pipes, including 762 thousand tons of large diameter pipes, up by 18%.
Pipes exports increased by 123%, to 587 thousand tons, with 437 thousand tons supplied to the far foreign countries (up by 264%) and 150 thousand tons to the CIS countries (+5%).
At the same time deliveries to the local market dropped by 3%, to 1.4 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
