In 2017 KAZ Minerals gross income from sales grew 2-fold YoY, to $1.938 billion.
“The increase mainly has to do with the growth of Bozshakol and Aktogay input of $439 million and $462 million respectively, on the background of the strengthening market”, the group said in a statement.
The gross income from the sales of the Eastern region and Bozymchak increased by $68 million mostly because of the growing prices for copper, zinc and silver, which compensated for the drop in copper and zinc output.
EBITDA increased by 151%, to $1.235 billion.
The group operational income increased by 228%, to $715 million. (Ukrainian metal)
