Stepps East LLC plans to carry out prospecting works at the Mutnovskoye gold, silver and polymetal deposits in order to construct a mining and processing works there.
The deposits are situated 60 km south of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski.
It is believed, that apart from gold and silver, the field contains considerable reserves of lead, zinc, indium, bismuth and other non-ferrous metals.
Investments in the project exceed 6 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
