As of February 1 Magadan region mined 1317.4 kg of gold and 51.6 tons of silver.
According to the regional ministry of natural resources, gold output grew by 41.5% YoY, or by 386.6 kg. At the same time silver mining decreased by 14.6%, or by 8.8 tons. The decrease has to do with the scheduled drop in mining at Polymetal.
This year the region intends to obtain 37.1 tons of fold, up by 12.6% YoY, as well as 665 tons of silver.
Last year the region yielded 32.95 tons of gold and 779.5 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
