In 2017 Severstal purchased goods and services from Vologda region companies valued at 19.9 billion rubles, up by 4.5 billion rubles YoY.
Small and medium business accounted for 10.5 billion rubles.
The share of Vologda region in Severstal purchases increased last year from 13% to 16%. The growth is connected with the large-scale investment program at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
At present the supplier base of Severstal numbers over 2.5 thousand companies. (Ukrainian metal)
