In March Sibirsky Mining and Metallurgical Alliance (SiGma) will put into operation the first stage of Ozernovsky Mining and Metallurgical Works in Kamchatka.
The first line will have the capacity of 100 thousand tons of ore (2 tons of gold) per year.
The first year of operation will see some 1-1.5 tons of gold. The plant will employ 150-200 people.
Later the GOK capacity will reach 250-450 thousand tons of ore per year.
Ozernovskoye reserves are estimated at 80257 kg of gold and 79.9 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
