Tata Power’s victory at an auction for a 25-year license for the Krutogorovsky coalfield in the Kamchatka region will become India’s biggest investment in Russia’s Far East, India’s Ambassador to Russia Pankaj Saran said.

“Negotiations on the project began several years, ago and I am glad that the company has won a license to develop the coal field. It will be a large investment, possibly, the largest Indian investment in the region,” he said. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
