Severstal has commissioned the first industrial 3D-printer at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works. Investments totaled 4.3 million rubles. With the help of the printer the machine-building shop will produce molds for cast parts. The printer is expected to produce around one third of all molds. It takes 16 hours to print one mold.
