In 2017 Russkiy Ugol mined 842 thousand tons of coal in Krasnoyarsk region, up by 4% from the plan and by 7% YoY.
The increase is the result of the new machinery acquisition. Thus, the company purchased 55-ton BelAZ trucks, Komatsu excavators and bulldozers.
Russkiy Ugol started developing the Sayano-Partizansky pit in 1991, but only in the past 5 years it was able to reach considerable output levels. (Ukrainian metal)
