In January-October Russia exported 200.8 thousand tons of rails, up by 19% and the highest result in the past 7 years.
Pakistan was the main importer of Russian rails – 39.4 thousand tons, up 6-fold.
Belarus imported 31.4 thousand tons, up 2.4-fold, followed by South Korea (21.8 thousand tons, up by 75%).
For the first time Russia has supplied rails to Algeria – some 21 thousand tons. Exports to Uzbekistan dropped by 28%, to 19.4 thousand tons.
The main exporter of rails is Evraz ZSMK. (Ukrainian metal)
