Resurs LLC plans to construct a gold-extracting plant of heap leaching at the Polyanka deposits in Khabarovsk region.
The site with the reserves of 15 tons of gold was discovered in 2014.
The company intends to produce 1250 thousand tons of ore, or 1297.5 kg of gold per year.
Resurs LLC has already received a license to prospect and develop the site until December 2036, and construct the first stage of the plant.
At first some 260 jobs will be created, and when the plant reaches its full capacity it will employ 500 people.
The construction of the first stage will start in February 2018, while the first ingot is expected to be produced on October 20, 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
