Karelsky Okatysh is finishing the modernization of the third stage of the wet magnetic separation.
The investment program has been carried out during the year. So far the company has installed 18 separators – two at each of 9 sections. Moreover, two additional machines have been assigned to the first stage of the separation.
“All the separators are Russia-made. They are much larger and efficient than the previous ones. Their capacity is 250 tons per hour, thus we have 2 separators per section, not 3”, the company said.
The new separators consume 2 times less electricity. (Ukrainian metal)
