NLMK-Kaluga electrometallurgical works of the new generation has produced the 5-millionth ton of steel.
The works was commissioned in 2013. In half a year it has reached its maximum output capacities and has been keeping the high level irrespective of the market situation ever since.
“We use high quality steel to produce some 20 types and sizes of sections and bars. 5 million tons of steel – is a new achievement, speaking of the high growth rates and our possibilities”, the company CEO Sergey Shalyaev said. (Ukrainian metal)
