The copper-smelting shop of Uralelectromed has started assembling the new crane to load charge into the anode furnaces.
The cost of the machinery together with assembly will reach some 20 million rubles.
This is the second crane manufactured by the Naberezhniye Chelny Crane Works, made to order. The first one has been working for a year and has already demonstrated good results.
The new crane will service the fourth and fifth reverberatory furnaces. Its lifting capacity is 3 tons. It will be able to completely load the furnace in 2 hours.
In 2019 the company will replace the third crane. (Ukrainian metal)
