The Volyn region governor Vladimir Gunchik has discussed with the deputy minister of energy and coal industry Galina Karp the problem of salary debts to miners.
The deputy minister promised that the necessary money to clear debts would be transferred by December 8.
On December 5, Gunchik will meet with miners and union representatives to discuss the regional coal industry problems. Until that time he has asked the miners to stop striking and start extracting coal.
