In January-September Russia exported 485.2 thousand tons of primary copper and copper wire rod valued at $2777 million.
Sales volumes increased by 8.6% YoY, but were 5.6% lower than in 2015. Revenue increased by 34.4% YoY, but was lower than the indices of the 6 previous years.
The share of primary copper is 78%.
In September the average price for primary copper was $6916 per ton FOB Russian border, up by 51% MoM. Price for copper wire rod was $5900 per ton, up by 27%. (Ukrainian metal)
