In January-September Russia exported 6.5 million tons of flat rolled metal, up by 0.3% YoY. At the same time this was the highest export in the past 7 years.

According to the customs statistics, revenue increased by 45.5% YoY, to $4 billion. This is the highest result for the past 3 years.

The main importer of Russian flat rolled metal is Turkey (33%, up by 6.3% YoY), followed by Belarus (6%, up by 17.8%), Iran (6%, up by 20%) and Egypt (6%, up by 141%). (Ukrainian metal)
