In January-October Belarus Iron and Steel Works increased hot-rolled seamless pipes output by 66% YoY, to 113 thousand tons.
According to the company statement, in October pipe manufacture growth was 244.6% YoY.
Steel smelting increased by 4.5%, to 1.92 million tons, metal cord – by 6.6%, to 79.6 thousand tons, RML wire – by 14%, to 29.3 thousand tons, and steel wire – by 21.1%, to 203.1 thousand tons.
Exports grew by 5.6%, to 1.55 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
