The rail and beam shop of Evraz NTMK has started producing a new type of rolled metal – the 40P channel. At present Evraz NTMK is the only producer of such a channel in Russia.
The new hot-rolled channel is made of steel to order, including of 09G2S stainless steel, which can be used in the conditions of the Extreme North.
Earlier the rail and beam shop has started producing new types of 22 and 24 channel, KR100 rails, ball ingots with the diameter of 100 mm, and pipe billets with the diameter of 160 and 180 mm. Until the end of the year the company intends to produce trial batches of new 30P and 27P channel. (Ukrainian metal)
