Kazakh Aktobe Rail-Belt Plant LLP (ARBP) and Russian Railways signed an agreement on supply of 7,500 tons of R65 rails to Russia.

The agreement was signed by the Head of Kazakhstan Railways Kanat Alpysbaev and the President of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov at the 19th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Russia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.

Long-length rails produced by the Kazakh manufacturers will be used for modernization of Russian railways.

By the end of this year ARBP will have supplied 7,500 tons of R65 120-meter rails to Russia.

The ARBP is expected to have exported more than 550,000 tons of rails by 2020. (Trend/Ukrainian metal)
