In January-September KAZ Minerals produced 193.3 thousand tons of raw copper (98.6 thousand tons in 9 months of 2016).
In Q3 copper output increased by 14 QoQ, to 75 thousand tons, mostly because of the production growth at Aktagan.
The annual copper output target was thus increased from 235-260 thousand tons to 250-270 thousand tons.
KAZ Minerals also produced 45.8 thousand tons of zinc concentrate. This year the target has been decreased from 70-75 thousand tons to 60-65 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
