Russian gold bar production rose by 5.4% YoY but fell by 6.1% MoM in September, the Federal State Statistics Service said.
In January-September, gold bar production increased by 8.1% YoY.
In 2016, Russia’s gold bar output fell by 7.8%.
Previously, absolute figures on the production of non-ferrous metals were a state secret. The figures are no longer classified, but the government does not publish them. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
