In January-September Russia produced 38.8 million tons of pig iron, down by 0.2% YoY.
According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in September output increased by 4.9% YoY, but dropped by 1.4% MoM.
Rolled metal manufacture in 9 months went up by 1.4%, to 45.5 million tons. In September output grew by 1.6% YoY, but went down by 4.1% MoM.
Pipe companies increased output in September by 18.7% YoY and by 0.8% MoM. In 9 months they produced 8.4 million tons of pipes, up by 3.7% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
