According to the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the antidumping duty on Ukrainian hot-rolled angles will be 37.89%. The decision will come into effect in 30 days after its official publication, but not earlier than October 11.
In May it was decided to impose a preliminary antidumping duty for 4 months (till October). With the new decision the EAEC has prolonged the term of the duty for 4 years and 8 months.
According to the Commission, in January 2013 – June 2016 prices of Ukrainian angles were lower than of their competitors. In particular, in 2015 their prices dropped by 32.3%, and in the period of investigation – by 28.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
