Zaporizhstal has set a record of pig iron manufacture – 13.2 thousand tons per day, up by 500 tons from the previous record.
This has been achieved thanks to the reconstruction of blast furnace manufacture.
The works has already invested almost 9 billion UAH into environment modernization.
In 2012-2016 investments totaled 5.6 billion UAH, with 1.7 billion in 2016.
“Because of the environment investments we see a steady decrease of pollution”, the company said. (Ukrainian metal)
