According to the Federal Customs Service, in January-July the share of metal and metal wares in the imports from far foreign countries reached 5.9% (5.6% in January-July 2016).
The cost-wise volume increased by 35.3% YoY, physical volume – by 59.9%.
Steel pipes imports grew by 97.4%, flat rolled metal by 47.2%.
The share of metal and metal wares imports from the CIS countries in 7 months totaled 16.4% (12.7%), up by 66% in cost and by 48.2% in volume. In particular, flat imports grew by 59.1%, and steel pipes by 43.2%. (Ukrainian metal)
