Novgorodsky Iron and Steel Works has completed the scheduled repair of its MAERZ furnace.
All the work has been done without side contractors.
“Thanks to the combined efforts of the NMZ employees we have completed the repair 18 hours ahead of schedule. This allowed us to start heating the furnace and make products earlier”, the company chief engineer Mikhail Shamanov said. (Ukrainian metal)
