In January-June Russia increased imports of galvanized steel with polymer coating by 36.6% YoY.
According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia imported 269.5 thousand tons of steel, with 59% supplied by China, followed by South Korea and Kazakhstan.
Chinese price was $789.4 per ton, Kazakhstani – $997.5, and Korean – $1226 per ton.
In June Russia imported $17.693 million worth of steel, up by 6.3% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
