Rosterminalugol JSC, the largest dedicated coal port in the Baltic region, a part of Russia’s largest coal port holding Port Management Company LLC, has exported 10 million tons of coal this year.

The milestone ton was loaded on June 12 onto Post-Panamax Nordic Odin, the 151st vessels handled from the year beginning (the 11th in June). In 2016, this result was achieved on August 10. The shipload totaled 46,700 tons.

In 2016, throughput of Rosterminalugol grew by 3.4% YoY, to a record high result of 18 million tons (over 60% of coal transshipment in the ports of Russia’s Baltic Basin). (Portnews/Ukrainian metal)
