The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertisa forecasts that in June ferrous scrap deliveries to metal companies will decrease by 13.53% MoM, or by 36 thousand tons, to 230 thousand tons.
“In April 266 thousand tons of scrap were delivered to the works. I believe both traders and procurers tried to sell as much scrap as possible, as they expected the prices to further drop. I think in May deliveries will total 230 thousand tons”, the company deputy director Yuri Dobrovolsky said.
The company forecasts that in June the price of ferrous scrap will decrease by 3.8% MoM, or by 200 UAH, to 5006 UAH per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
