In March Russia exported 1.28 million tons of non-alloyed steel semi-finished products, up by 0.9% MoM, but down by 10.3% YoY.
According to the customs statistics, in January-March exports totaled 3.72 million tons, up by 1.9% YoY, but down by 2.3% from 2015.
Earnings increased by 72%, to $1460 million. This is the highest result for the past 3 years.
The main importers of the Russian semis were Taiwan (26%), Turkey (16.3%) and Belgium (12.8%). (Ukrainian metal)
