In 2017 Olenegorsky Mining and Processing Works, a part of Severstal, will buy four 136-ton Catterpillar-785 dump trucks, the first will be delivered in August.

“The company also plans to buy two drilling rigs and a forklift loader”, the company acting CEO Alexei Scherbakov said.

OGOK investments in 2017 will total 1.4 billion rubles.

Earlier the company received the right to mine iron ore at the Kurkenpahk deposits in Murmansk region with the reserves of 14 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
