Foreign investors plan to construct a new foundry in Lviv region.

According to the press service of the Lviv regional state administration, the regional governor Oleg Sinyutka and the representatives of the investors discussed the possibility of constructing a works to produce aluminum castings.

Fundicao de Evora, a joint venture of Aluthea and Schreder, will invest some 1.7 million euro at first stage to create 40 jobs. The works could start operating in 2018. At first three casting machines will be put into operation, but in 2-3 years the company plans to increase capacities, and in 5-7 years to double investments. (Ukrainian metal)
