From March 29, Severstal decreased prices on its main products – hot- and cold-rolled metal, galvanized metal and polymer-coated metal – by 2.7-6.2% per ton, depending on the product.
“Despite a slight pressure on the prime cost of our products of such factors as ruble strengthening and tariff increase, we decrease our ruble prices. We believe this will allow us to increase our share on the Russian market”, Severstal Management marketing director Dmitry Goroshkov said.
In particular, prices for hot-rolled sheet decrease by 2.7%, hot-rolled plate – by 6.2%, cold-rolled sheets and coils – by 3%, galvanized coils – by 4.1%, polymer-coated rolled metal – by 5%, and for Classic steel silk – by 5%. (Ukrainian metal)
