Beringpromugol, a part of Tigers Realm Coal Limited (Australia), developing the Fandyushkinskoye pole deposits in Chukotka, in Q1 intends to mine 80 thousand tons of coal.

According to the financial director Denis Kurochkin, in January-February the company sent 45 thousand tons of coal from the deposit to the Beringovsky port, and plans to ship 35 thousand tons more in March.

“Next quarter we will continue mining and shipping coal, but in mid-May the road will melt. By that time we plan to accumulate some 120 thousand tons of coal at the port. We will halt operation from May till mid-July to construct the road. In 2017 we intend to ship 200 thousand tons of coal”, Kurochkin said. (Ukrainian metal)
