In 2016 Severstal supplied over 22 thousand tons of metal to Russian shipbuilding companies, up by 34% YoY.
According to the company statement, Severstal products are used both in civil, and military shipbuilding. The company produces all the range of shipbuilding steels.
Last year Severstal started producing PC F500 W strength plate with 70 mm thickness, used in the manufacture of drilling rigs, icebreakers, and various infrastructure objects. (Ukrainian metal)
