In 2016 Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, received 315.5 million rubles of net profits, down 6.6-fold YoY.
The works revenue dropped by 2.5%, to 22.89 billion rubles. Export sales decreased by 14.7%, to 4.49 billion rubles, while local sales went up by 1.1%, to 18.4 billion rubles.
In Q4 2016 BMK saw 405 million rubles of net profits, and 271 million in Q3. Q1 was profitless. Revenue in Q4 2016 totaled 6.48 billion rubles, up by 13% QoQ. (Ukrainian metal)
