In 2016 Severstal supplied 4.26 million tons of metal structures to Russian construction companies, up by 4% YoY.
In particular, last year the metal from Cherepovets was used when erecting infrastructure objects for the 2018 World Cup: Yekaterinburg stadium and Zenit-Arena in Saint Petersburg.
All in all in 2016 the company participated in 60 construction projects.
“We plan to increase supplies to our construction clients, expand the product range and deliver small batches in time”, Severstal Management sales director Yevgeniy Chernyakov said.
In 2016, 14% of Severstal Russian Steel metal was sold through Severstal Distribution. (Ukrainian metal)
