The Rostov region governor Vasily Golubev and the Don-Metall CEO Natig Asadov have signed an agreement on cooperation in construction of the metal works in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky with the capacity of 160 thousand tons of hot-rolled rebars per year.
Investments will total 3.3 billion rubles.
Last year the company constructed the transformer substation on the site and prepared all the necessary documents for the construction of the railroad branch. Now the industrial premises are under construction. Rebar-producing machinery has been purchased. The micro-works is expected to be put into operation in2018.
So far 400 million rubles have been invested in the project. The works will employ 480 people. (Ukrainian metal)
