Severstal has started transferring quality certificates into digital format with digital signature. No other major metal company in Russia has done this so far.
The specialists of the sales and technical control finalize the testing of the pilot project at Cherepovetsk Iron and Steel Works.
“Paper certificates take up a considerable document workflow of the company. The transfer to the digital certificates will decrease expenses on printing, mailing and keeping paper documents. Moreover, a single base of quality certificates will be created”, Severstal Management sales director Yevgeni Chernyakov said. (Ukrainian metal)
