VSMPO-Avisma has increased its business-plan for 2017 by 11.5% as compared with the plan for 2016.
According to the company statement, all the titanium divisions have enough orders. The company also implements a new planning tool.
“The idea is that we will be able to see the production picture more clearly and we will know when, in what volume and to what machinery we have to get the billet. The whole chain in visible, tracked, and planned in advance so that products don’t just lie around”, the company manufacture director Oleg Ryabov said.
In 2016 VSMPO-Avisma planned to produce 29 thousand tons of titanium and deliver 8 thousand tons to local customers, down from 11 thousand tons in 2015. (Ukrainian metal)
