Because of the unsatisfactory operation of Ukrzaliznytsia last year Ukrainian metal companies underproduced 3 million tons of steel.
In H2 2016 Ukrzaliznytsia operation was the worst in the last couple of years.
“Ukrzaliznytsia said it ended the year with several hundred millions of profits, but the state budget didn’t receive some billion UAH because of its poor operation”, Ukrmetallurgprom president Alexander Kalenkov said. (Ukrainian metal)
