Severstal Stalniye Resheniya, a part of Severstal Russian Steel, has started producing metal structures for the construction of the covered skating rink with artificial ice in Alexandrov, Vladimir region.

The total weight of the structures will exceed 350 tons. The covered skating rink will be a one-story building with the total square of 3240 square meters and the “Canadian” ice arena (30×60 m). All the structures will be produced at the Orel site.

“This is not the first sports object constructed using the SSR metal structures. Last year there were 3 buildings constructed in various regions of Russia, and this year it is planned to build 2 more”, the company director Vladislav Vasilyev said. (Ukrainian metal)
