Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works has started testing three dust extraction systems in its sinter shop, which produces 15 million tons of raw materials for pig iron manufacture annually.
The project will decrease dust emission by the sintering factory by 3.3% and will enable the company to use the dust in the manufacturing process. Dust content in air-pollution will decrease 15-fold.
The total cost of the project is 360 million rubles. It will be finished in Q1 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
