Uzbekistan has prepared the project on the construction of the new metal enterprise – Tashkent Iron and Steel Works.
The investments will total 278 million euro. The construction could be finished in 2 years.
The works is expected to receive equipment from Austria, Germany and Italy.
The works will specialize in the production of rolled metal for construction, as well as sheet metal for car and household appliances manufacture. The project capacity of the works is 0.5 million tons of metal products per year. (Ukrainian metal)
