In 2016 Severstal Balakovo Bar Works, a part of Severstal Russian Steel, produced 722 thousand tons of steel, up by 20% YoY.
The company also produced 660 thousand tons of bars, up by 17% YoY.
Last year consumers received 702 thousand tons of bars. This year the output is expected on the same level.
In 2016 most of the products (94%) were purchased by Russian customers.
Since the operation of the works started the company produced 1621 thousand tons of bars and 1664 thousand tons of steel. (Ukrainian metal)
