In 2016 Russian metal companies produced 69.6 million tons of steel, up by 0.3% YoY.
Ferrous rolled metal output dropped by 0.2% YoY, to 60.3 million tons, that of steel pipes – by 11.5%, to 10.1 million tons.
In December 2016 steel output grew by 4.6% MoM and by 8.7% YoY. Rolled metal production increased by 4.5% MoM and by 7.6% YoY. Pipes output went up by 3.1% MoM, but dropped by 3.1% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
