In 2016 SUEK enterprises mined 105.4 million tons of coal, up by 8% YoY.
Sales increased by 2% YoY, to 103.1 million tons.
Russian consumers received 51.2 million tons of coal, with 39.5 million tons supplied to power companies.
Decrease of supplies to the local market totaled 6% due to the drop in coal consumption by power companies.
Exports went up by 11%, to 51.9 million tons. The main destinations were Japan, South Korea, China, the Netherlands, Taiwan, India, Germany, Turkey and Poland. (Ukrainian metal)
