Association of Process Automation Companies of Ukraine (АPACU), by summarizing their performance in 2016 named PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih” the winner in categories “Leader of the Year” and “Innovators 4.0” in automation and information technology.
АPACU emphasized that the company played an important role in creation of 4.0 Industry Campaign in Ukraine involving Siemens, Schneider Electric, Hewlett Packard and other Ukrainian branches of world brands. The campaign has ambitious target: digital transformation of the country that will help create new economic model and make Ukraine one of the world industrial leaders.
Maxim Romanov, Director of Process Automation Department of PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih”: “This achievement is the result of the team work of our department. We thoroughly studied the world leading standards within automation and convinced our contractors supplying equipment, technology and software to our company to cooperate following these standards. It will improve the quality of automation on the shop floor of the company and eliminate costs related to introduction of new local systems into the general system of the company. Other companies will follow the same way. And this will positively influence the quality of automation and processes respectively. It is pleasant to realize, that PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih” boosted these improvements and our contests of projects in automation Hakatons gave an impetus to 4.0 Industry Campaign in Ukraine”.
