Vorkutaugol has finished modernization of the Pechorskaya Central Processing Factory.
The total cost of the investment project is 1.35 billion rubles. The program started in 2012, and the factory has been operating all the time. As the result, the factory capacity increased by 65%, from 7.5 million tons of coal to 11.5 million tons of coal per year.
“We have halved the number of the main machinery. In 2012 we had 142 units, now, after the modernization, we have 72. But the overall productivity of the enterprise increased”, the factory director Irina Suvorova reported. (Ukrainian metal)
